NEW DELHI: IRCTC(Rs. 2437.13 crore), ONGC(Rs. 1035.54 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 969.67 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 679.23 crore), Coal India Ltd(Rs. 499.20 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 465.86 crore), RIL(Rs. 462.47 crore), Ibull Housing Fin(Rs. 425.51 crore), HDFC(Rs. 387.32 crore) and Bharti Airtel(Rs. 385.32 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:00AM in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 8.65 points up at 17830.95, while BSE Sensex was up 40.47 points at 59785.35 as of 11:00AM(IST)on October 06.
In the Nifty index, UPL Ltd.(up 3.58 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 3.33 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.10 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 1.81 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.39 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.87 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.22 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 1.07 per cent) and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent) were among the top losers.
