NEW DELHI: IRCTC(Rs. 5153.50 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 1792.22 crore), ONGC(Rs. 1712.98 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1501.93 crore), Deepak Nitrite(Rs. 1412.73 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 1372.76 crore), RIL(Rs. 1224.08 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 1120.81 crore), Bosch(Rs. 1089.14 crore) and HDFC(Rs. 989.38 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 176.3 points down at 17646.0, while BSE Sensex fell 555.15 points to 59189.73.
In the Nifty index, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 2.72 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.40 per cent), UPL Ltd.(up 1.77 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 1.45 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 3.95 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 3.92 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 3.14 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.96 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(down 2.81 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
