Tata Consultancy(up 0.05 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Mindtree(down 1.6 per cent), MPhasis(down 1.28 per cent), Coforge(down 1.23 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Infotech(down 1.14 per cent) and HCL Technologies(down 0.94 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty IT index was down 0.51 per cent at 35364.05 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 11.15 points at 17833.45, while the BSE Sensex was up 50.35 points at 59795.23.
