Brigade Enterprises(up 1.42 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 0.63 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.45 per cent), DLF(up 0.3 per cent) and Hemisphere Properties India(up 0.25 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Oberoi Realty(down 0.99 per cent), Sunteck Realty(down 0.35 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(down 0.27 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.21 per cent at 511.05 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 31.05 points at 17853.35, while the BSE Sensex was up 110.84 points at 59855.72.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 23 were trading in the green, while 27 were in the red.
