Global Infras(down 3.00%), Tata Power Company(down 1.67%), JSW Energy(down 1.61%), Adani Power(down 1.55%), Torrent Power(down 0.54%), Transformers and Rectifiers(India)(down 0.47%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.42%), Inox wind(down 0.30%), Indo Tech Transformers(down 0.20%) and CESC(down 0.11%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 14.45 points up at 17836.75, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 59.02 points at 59803.9 at around 11:21AM.
Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 3.39%), UPL Ltd(up 3.1%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 2.55%), Britannia Industries(up 1.98%), HDFC(up 1.42%), HDFC Bank(up 1.4%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.39%), Indian Oil Corporation(up 0.89%), Axis Bank(up 0.84%) and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 0.63%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, SBI Life(down 2.4%), HCL Technologies(down 1.11%), Titan Company Ltd(down 1.08%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.08%), JSW Steel(down 1.04%), Divis Laboratories(down 1.01%), Tata Motors(down 0.99%), Wipro(down 0.9%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.88%) and Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.86%) were trading in the red.
