NEW DELHI: Tata Motors(Rs. 1574.29 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 1209.26 crore), Titan Company (Rs. 664.33 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 384.60 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 330.47 crore), Maruti Suzuki(Rs. 323.82 crore), ONGC(Rs. 297.09 crore), Motherson Sumi(Rs. 255.78 crore), RIL(Rs. 254.65 crore) and Deepak Nitrite(Rs. 222.68 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 09:59AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 166.2 points up at 17812.2, while BSE Sensex was up 565.87 points at 59755.6 as of 09:59AM(IST)on October 07.
In the Nifty index, Tata Motors Ltd.(up 7.83 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 7.58 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 2.96 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.85 per cent) and Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 2.06 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.96 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.87 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 0.54 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.32 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(down 0.29 per cent) were among the top losers.
