NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Thursday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Unique Organics(14.56%), Vaksons Automobiles(14.14%), Ishaan Infrastru(13.57%), USG Tech(13.31%), Prime Property(12.33%), RCI Industries & Te(11.63%), Sobha (11.08%), CFSL Ltd.(10.81%), Surana Solar (10.0%) and BLB Ltd.(10.0%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 551.32 points up at 59741.05, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 160.0 points to 17806.0.
In the Nifty 50 index, 41 stocks traded in the green, while 9 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Aban Offshore, Mallcom(India), Taylormade Renewable, Kirloskar Elec and TheBykeHospitality hit their fresh 52-week high, while Ambition Mica, SBL Infratech Ltd., Nova Pub, Kiran Print Pack and Shukra Jewellery touched their new 52-week low in trade.
