NEW DELHI: JP Power(number of shares traded: 24.47 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 9.67 crore), Tata Motors(number of shares traded: 6.36 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 3.64 crore), Trident Ltd(number of shares traded: 3.30 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 3.21 crore), Indian Hotels(number of shares traded: 2.40 crore), Tata Power(number of shares traded: 2.09 crore), ONGC(number of shares traded: 2.05 crore) and Bank of Baroda(number of shares traded: 2.02 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:26AM in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 113.55 points up at 17903.9, while BSE Sensex was up 393.45 points at 60071.28 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Wipro Ltd.(up 2.84 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 2.13 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 2.00 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 1.95 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.74 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Coal India Ltd.(down 3.20 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.47 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 0.86 per cent) and Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.82 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
