These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Inox Wind Ltd.(14.84%), Tyroon Tea Co(14.8%), Kamat Hotels(13.95%), PG Electroplast(13.84%), Sical Logistics(13.58%), Benares Hotels(13.2%), Arshiya (12.79%), Jay Ushin(12.44%), Indian Energy Exchg(11.97%) and Auto Corp Goa (11.89%).
The 30-share Sensex ended 76.72 points up at 60135.78, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 50.75 points up at 17945.95.
In the Nifty 50 index, 33 stocks ended in the green, while 17 stocks closed in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as TAAL Enterprises, Kirloskar Elec, Prevest Denpro Ltd., Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Ltd. and GOCL Corporation hit their fresh 52-week high, while J L Morison, SBL Infratech Ltd., Jiya Eco Products Lt, Paos Industries and Cochin Malabar touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
