Shares of Oberoi Realty(up 4.89 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 2.81 per cent), DLF(up 2.16 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 1.19 per cent) and Mindspace Business Park REIT(up 0.87 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Brookfield India Real Estate Trust(down 0.45 per cent) and EMBASSY(down 0.32 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.73 per cent up at 529.9.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 50.75 points at 17945.95, while the BSE Sensex stood up 76.72 points at 60135.78.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 ended in the green, while 17 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Tata Power, Tata Motors, Suzlon Energy and BHEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Hindprakash Industri, GOCL Corporation, Aban Offshore, Kirloskar Elec and Hindustan Motor hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Jiya Eco Products Lt, Jainam Ferro Alloys(I)Ltd., Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Ltd. and Coastal Corp hit their fresh 52-week lows.
