Adani Transmissions(down 1.11%), Karma Energy(down 0.46%) and Voltamp Transformers(down 0.27%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 120.15 points up at 18015.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 337.11 points at 60396.17 at around 11:16AM.
Tata Motors(up 8.02%), Coal India(up 4.48%), NTPC(up 3.22%), Maruti Suzuki(up 3.03%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 2.77%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 2.7%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 2.69%), Hindalco Industries(up 2.38%), Grasim Industries(up 2.11%) and Divis Laboratories(up 2.02%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tata Consultancy(down 5.2%), Tech Mahindra(down 1.67%), Wipro(down 0.82%), Bharti Airtel(down 0.65%), Britannia Industries(down 0.52%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.44%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.3%) and HCL Technologies(down 0.01%) were trading in the red.
