Maruti Suzuki Share price: Stocks in the news: Maruti, HCL Tech, TaMo, HFCL, Angel One and Majestic

Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded merely 105 points, or 0.58 per cent higher at 17,856, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a negative start on Tuesday. Here are a dozen stocks which may buzz the most in today’s trade:

Bhansali Engineering, GM Breweries, Majestic: Bhansali Engineering Polymers, GM Breweries, TARC, DRC Systems India, Majestic Auto, Indian Merchant Banking Services, Gensol Engineering, Ind Bank Housing and Canopy Finance are among the companies that will announce their March quarter results today.

Maruti Suzuki: The country’s largest carmaker witnessed a massive 51 per cent drop in production last month owing to the shortage of semiconductor chips. The auto major reported production of 81,278 units in September as compared with 1,66,086 units in September 2020.



HCL Technologies: The IT major said it has expanded its strategic partnership with Google Cloud to jointly launch healthcare and life sciences solutions for customers.

Tata Motors: The homegrown automajor reported a 24 per cent increase in group global wholesales, including that of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), to 2,51,689 units in September quarter of FY22 over the year-ago period.

Zee Entertainment Enterprise: Continuing with its calls for change in management and board of Zee, investment firm Invesco on Monday asked shareholders of Zee to join it in asking why the founding family, which holds around 4 per cent stake, should benefit at the expense of the investors who hold the remaining 96 per cent.

Coal India: The coal miner said that on average, 76.6 per cent of coal was provided to power producers during the current month, even as the country’s electricity-generating plants are grappling with coal shortages.


Telcos:
Telecom Operators – Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea- have moved telecom tribunal to challenge telecom department’s demand notices for payment of Rs 3,050 crore cumulative penalties in the points of interconnect matter.

Hero MotoCorp: The auto player said it has expanded the Pleasure scooter range with the launch of a new variant with a price starting at Rs 61,993 (ex-showroom Delhi). The 110-cc Pleasure+ XTec scooter would be available at company dealerships across the country.

Alembic Pharmaceuticals: The drug firm said it has received establishment inspection report (EIR) from the US health regulator for its new injectable facility at Karakhadi in Gujarat.

Prestige Estates Projects: The real estate firm reported an 88 per cent year-on-year growth in its sales bookings at Rs 2,111.9 crore for the quarter ending September on better housing demand. Its sales bookings stood at Rs 1,123.3 crore in the year-ago period.

Ashok Leyland: The commercial vehicle maker launched its all-new intermediate commercial vehicle (ICV) ecomet STAR with additional features to cater to 11T to 16T GVW ICV segment. The vehicle provides higher fluid efficiency, better tyre life, longer service intervals and overall lower maintenance cost with enhanced Turnaround Time (TAT).

Angel One: The Digital-focused brokerage, formerly known as Angel Broking, has been on an average adding almost four lakh new customers each month so far this fiscal, as it has on-boarded a massive 2.38 million customers during April-September, taking the overall client base to 6.52 million.

Bharat Dynamics: Life Insurance Corporation of India sold 37.60 lakh equity shares in the company via open market transactions, reducing shareholding to 8.44 percent from 10.49 percent earlier.

: The company posted consolidated loss at Rs 22.57 crore in Q2FY22 against loss of Rs 54.91 crore in Q2FY21, revenue jumped to Rs 74.72 crore from Rs 38.37 crore in the year ago period.


IIFL Finance:
The NBFC player said that it has launched an instant business loan on WhatsApp. Users will be able to avail loans up to Rs 10 lakh with minimum documentation and approval in 5 mins.

Saregama India: The music label reported a 16.87 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 33.80 crore for the second quarter ended September 2021. It had posted a net profit of Rs 28.92 crore in the July-September quarter last fiscal.

HFCL: The domestic telecom gear maker posted a 61.18 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 85.94 crore in the September quarter. The company had posted a profit of Rs 53.32 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.


ABB Power Products and Systems India:
The heavy electrical equipment said that its shareholders have approved the proposal to change the company’s name to Hitachi Energy India Limited.
