NEW DELHI: Tata Motors(Rs. 4130.92 crore), TCS(Rs. 2104.71 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 2042.23 crore), Indian Energy Exchg(Rs. 1967.13 crore), SBI(Rs. 1611.23 crore), HCL Tech(Rs. 1607.31 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 1581.31 crore), BHEL(Rs. 1349.40 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1247.73 crore) and Jubilant Food(Rs. 1104.64 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 46.0 points up at 17991.95, while BSE Sensex rose 148.53 points to 60284.31.
In the Nifty index, Titan Company Ltd.(up 5.51 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 3.29 per cent), State Bank of India(up 2.93 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.87 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.29 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 4.03 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.94 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.84 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.80 per cent) and Shree Cements Ltd.(down 1.13 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
