MRF shares up 0.11% as Sensex rises

Shares of Ltd. gained 0.11 per cent to Rs 85725.2 in Wednesday’s session as of 01:26PM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 501.06 points higher at 60785.37.

Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap up start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 98575.9 and a 52-week low of Rs 57887.85 on NSE. Around 654 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:26PM (IST).

The stock opened at Rs 85850.0 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 86700.0 and Rs 85403.95 during the session so far. The counter quoted a price-to-earnings (PE) ratio of 25.48, earnings per share (EPS) of Rs 3369.82 and price to book value (PB) of 2.6, while the return on equity (ROE) stood at Rs 9.52.




Promoter/ FII Holding
The promoters held 27.82 per cent stake in the company as of October 13, while FII and MF ownerships stood at 19.01 per cent and 7.5 per cent, respectively.

With a market capitalisation of Rs 36411.91 crore, the company operates in the Tyres & Tubes industry. For the quarter ended 30-Jun-2021, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 4276.58 crore, down 12.26 per cent from the previous quarter?s Rs 4874.2 crore and down 70.75 per cent from the same quarter a year ago. The company reported net profit of Rs 165.58 crore for the latest quarter, up 1130.16 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

The relative strength index (RSI) of the stock stands at 67.31. The RSI oscillates between zero and 100.
