These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Triveni Glass(14.77%), Tata Power(14.48%), Tata Chemicals(14.16%), RMC Switchgears(14.08%), Swelect Energy(14.05%), Tata Investment(14.0%), Unishire Urban Infr(13.71%), Auto Corp Goa (13.63%), Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd.(13.35%) and Centrum Capital(13.02%).
The 30-share Sensex ended 452.74 points up at 60737.05, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 169.8 points up at 18161.75.
In the Nifty 50 index, 36 stocks ended in the green, while 13 stocks closed in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Tata Motors, Tata Motors(DVR), Tayo Rolls, Arvind Ltd and Brahmaputra Inf hit their fresh 52-week high, while Triveni Enterprises, SBL Infratech Ltd., AA Plus Tradelink Ltd., Alfa Transform and Regency Investments touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
