NEW DELHI: Tata Motors(Rs. 159.47 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 144.99 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 142.09 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 67.82 crore), TCS(Rs. 51.10 crore), Infosys(Rs. 50.19 crore), MindTree(Rs. 50.06 crore), Wipro(Rs. 46.11 crore), ITC(Rs. 38.49 crore) and BHEL(Rs. 36.13 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:40AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 111.25 points up at 18273.0, while BSE Sensex was up 318.83 points at 61055.88 as of 10:40AM(IST)on October 14.
In the Nifty index, Wipro Ltd.(up 6.09 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 4.12 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 3.33 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 3.10 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.68 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.96 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.71 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.25 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 0.95 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.80 per cent) were among the top losers.
