NEW DELHI: IRCTC(Rs. 7663.27 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 5211.09 crore), Wipro(Rs. 4244.19 crore), MindTree(Rs. 3612.46 crore), Infosys(Rs. 3416.37 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 2861.17 crore), TCS(Rs. 2336.42 crore), ITC(Rs. 2187.09 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 1573.91 crore) and HCL Tech(Rs. 1305.67 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 176.8 points up at 18338.55, while BSE Sensex rose 568.9 points to 61305.95.
In the Nifty index, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 7.09 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 5.30 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 4.50 per cent), ITC Ltd.(up 2.95 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 2.93 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Coal India Ltd.(down 3.29 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.83 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.81 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 1.20 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.12 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
