NEW DELHI: Tata Power(number of shares traded: 7.87 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 7.10 crore), Tata Motors(number of shares traded: 6.48 crore), Trident Ltd(number of shares traded: 6.01 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 4.56 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 4.48 crore), BHEL(number of shares traded: 3.49 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 3.21 crore), SAIL(number of shares traded: 3.13 crore) and Wipro(number of shares traded: 2.73 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:55AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 121.9 points up at 18283.65, while BSE Sensex was up 341.84 points at 61078.89 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Wipro Ltd.(up 6.21 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 5.01 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 3.79 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.09 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 3.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Tata Motors Ltd.(down 2.19 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.66 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.31 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 1.05 per cent) and Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.04 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
