Coal India(down 2.37%), KIOCL(down 1.58%), Ashapura Minechem(down 0.20%), 20 Microns(down 0.16%) and Aro Granite Industries(down 0.08%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 149.3 points up at 18311.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 451.15 points at 61188.2 at around 11:26AM.
Wipro(up 7.23%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 6.03%), Grasim Industries(up 4.35%), Tech Mahindra(up 3.36%), ITC(up 3.25%), Larsen & Toubro(up 2.91%), Indian Oil Corporation(up 2.21%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.88%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.88%) and Infosys(up 1.71%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Coal India(down 2.37%), Tata Motors(down 2.08%), IndusInd Bank(down 1.47%), Eicher Motors(down 1.28%), Bajaj Finance(down 0.99%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.77%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.73%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.53%), HCL Technologies(down 0.45%) and Axis Bank(down 0.39%) were trading in the red.
