NEW DELHI: Tata Power(Rs. 3932.39 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 2113.65 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 2091.94 crore), HCL Tech(Rs. 1429.08 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1422.21 crore), Avenue Supermart(Rs. 1174.93 crore), NALCO(Rs. 996.93 crore), Vedanta (Rs. 957.82 crore), Infosys(Rs. 926.00 crore) and ITC(Rs. 837.17 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:27AM in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 165.25 points up at 18503.8, while BSE Sensex was up 499.38 points at 61805.33 as of 11:27AM(IST)on October 18.
In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 5.50 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 4.70 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 3.76 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 3.21 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(up 2.95 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.63 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.36 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.08 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 0.97 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(down 0.81 per cent) were among the top losers.
