NEW DELHI: YES Bank(number of shares traded: 11.60 crore), Tata Power(number of shares traded: 8.05 crore), NALCO(number of shares traded: 5.40 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 3.56 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 3.26 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.78 crore), SAIL(number of shares traded: 2.53 crore), Shrenik(number of shares traded: 2.43 crore), Tata Motors(number of shares traded: 2.40 crore) and Trident Ltd(number of shares traded: 1.90 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 09:59AM in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 112.0 points up at 18450.55, while BSE Sensex was up 331.49 points at 61637.44 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 5.12 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 3.90 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 3.43 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 3.12 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(up 2.96 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.80 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.95 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 0.83 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(down 0.65 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
