Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today’s trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Bhagiradha Chem, SML Isuzu, Vishwaraj Sugar, United Drilling and INEOS Styrolution, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday’s trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 138.5 points up at 18477.05 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Servotech Power Syst, Destiny Logistics & Infra Ltd., Pasupati Acrylon, Jiya Eco Products Lt and Coastal Corp, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 32 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, JSW Steel and Tata Steel were among top gainers during the day, while HCL Tech, M&M, Asian Paints, Dr. Reddys and Britannia ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 459.64 points up at 61765.59.

Traders piled up positions in Metals – Non Ferrous, Trading, Metals – Ferrous, Defence and Sugar sectors, while selling was witnessed in Learning & Education, Retail, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Aquaculture and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors during the day.
