NEW DELHI: IRCTC(Rs. 9083.37 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 6010.58 crore), Indian Energy Exchg(Rs. 5910.27 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 2860.35 crore), L&T Infotech(Rs. 2562.78 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1877.81 crore), ITC(Rs. 1484.69 crore), HUL(Rs. 1430.58 crore), Tech Mahindra(Rs. 1326.51 crore) and HCL Tech(Rs. 1260.74 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 58.3 points down at 18418.75, while BSE Sensex fell 49.54 points to 61716.05.
In the Nifty index, Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 4.02 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 3.22 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.13 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.67 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.18 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, ITC Ltd.(down 6.32 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 5.44 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 4.34 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 4.04 per cent) and Titan Company Ltd.(down 4.01 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
