NEW DELHI: Bank of Baroda(number of shares traded: 6.02 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 5.54 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 5.40 crore), Tata Power(number of shares traded: 3.86 crore), BHEL(number of shares traded: 3.71 crore), Union Bank India(number of shares traded: 3.64 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(number of shares traded: 3.40 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 3.06 crore), Zee Ent.(number of shares traded: 2.55 crore) and IRB Infra Dev.(number of shares traded: 2.38 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:11AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 110.35 points down at 18156.25, while BSE Sensex was down 399.97 points at 60859.99 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.(up 2.68 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 2.65 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.72 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.07 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 0.77 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 3.28 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 3.08 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 2.18 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 2.18 per cent) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 2.09 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
