NEW DELHI: ICICI Bank(Rs. 7996.85 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 3208.68 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 2469.00 crore), RIL(Rs. 2072.50 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 1974.63 crore), SBI(Rs. 1811.92 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 1592.22 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 1458.62 crore), Bank of Baroda(Rs. 1393.61 crore) and HDFC Bank(Rs. 1359.27 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 10.5 points up at 18125.4, while BSE Sensex rose 145.43 points to 60967.05.
In the Nifty index, ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 10.85 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 3.48 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 2.77 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 0.97 per cent) and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.83 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 3.48 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 3.21 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 3.06 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 2.66 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 2.40 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
