Vishwaraj Sugar Industries(down 2.50%), Simbhaoli Sugars(down 2.36%), Dwarikesh Sugar Industries(down 1.19%), Ponni Sugars(Erode)(down 0.90%), Bannari Amman Sugars(down 0.65%) and Ugar Sugar Works(down 0.36%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 7.3 points down at 18118.1, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 132.48 points at 60834.57 at around 11:27AM.
Tata Motors(up 3.69%), Tech Mahindra(up 3.37%), SBI Life(up 2.03%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.95%), UPL Ltd(up 1.83%), Tata Steel(up 1.79%), Shree Cement(up 1.56%), Titan Company Ltd(up 1.54%), Grasim Industries(up 1.52%) and Eicher Motors(up 1.41%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Axis Bank(down 2.29%), ICICI Bank(down 1.66%), IndusInd Bank(down 1.55%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.07%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.96%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.86%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 0.66%), Bajaj Finserv(down 0.48%), HDFC Bank(down 0.45%) and HCL Technologies(down 0.41%) were trading in the red.
