NEW DELHI: Tata Power(Rs. 191.11 crore), Gateway Distripark(Rs. 134.14 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 101.83 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 84.29 crore), SBI(Rs. 73.72 crore), Canara Bank (Rs. 66.32 crore), RIL(Rs. 63.83 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 61.45 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 54.37 crore) and Asian Paints(Rs. 52.40 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 57.45 points down at 18210.95, while BSE Sensex fell 206.93 points to 61143.33.
In the Nifty index, Asian Paints Ltd.(up 4.20 per cent), UPL Ltd.(up 3.96 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.60 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 1.65 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(up 1.48 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Axis Bank Ltd.(down 6.46 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 4.75 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 3.19 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 2.11 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.86 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
