Revenue from operations rose 22 per cent YoY to Rs 8,762 crore compared with Rs 7,156 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Ebitda came in at Rs 1,434 crore, up 10 per cent YoY over Rs 1300 crore in the same quarter last year. Ebitda margin contracted 180 basis points to 16.4 per cent from 18.2 per cent YoY.
Increase in the cost of raw materials, which was partially offset with an increase in prices, the company said in a BSE filing.
After dividend payments of Rs 4,051 crore, surplus cash and cash equivalents stood at Rs 17,526 crore as of September 30 compared with Rs 19,097 crore as of June 30, the company said.
