NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 4.00 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 2.85 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 2.76 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 1.73 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 0.89 crore), Tata Power(numbers of share traded: 0.84 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 0.61 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 0.56 crore), Lloyds Steels(numbers of share traded: 0.52 crore) and Gateway Distripark(numbers of share traded: 0.51 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 57.45 points down at 18210.95, while BSE Sensex ended down 206.93 points at 61143.33.
On the other hand, Axis Bank Ltd.(down 6.46 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 4.75 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 3.19 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 2.11 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.86 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
