NEW DELHI: YES Bank(number of shares traded: 5.17 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 4.66 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 4.07 crore), Tata Power(number of shares traded: 3.08 crore), Canara Bank (number of shares traded: 2.35 crore), IDFC First Bank(number of shares traded: 2.23 crore), RattanIndia Power (number of shares traded: 1.89 crore), Bank of Baroda(number of shares traded: 1.89 crore), Axis Bank(number of shares traded: 1.82 crore) and BHEL(number of shares traded: 1.72 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:30AM in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 28.3 points up at 18296.7, while BSE Sensex was up 75.9 points at 61426.16 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Asian Paints Ltd.(up 4.74 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.45 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.87 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.76 per cent) and UPL Ltd.(up 1.41 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Axis Bank Ltd.(down 4.70 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 4.04 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.48 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.26 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.23 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
