NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Thursday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, SMS Lifesciences Ind(14.58%) and Super Sales Ltd(14.47%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 510.2 points down at 60633.13, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 167.2 points to 18043.75.
In the Nifty 50 index, 12 stocks traded in the green, while 38 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as SEL Manufact, Shree Hanuman Sugar & Industries Ltd., H S India, SMS Lifesciences Ind and Super Sales Ltd hit their fresh 52-week high, while Adishakti Loha and Ispat Ltd., Ramco Systems, Tiaan Ayurvedic & He, Indian Bright and Pioneer Agro touched their new 52-week low in trade.
