NEW DELHI: PNB(numbers of share traded: 32.13 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 25.66 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 12.20 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 7.53 crore), Tata Power(numbers of share traded: 6.47 crore), Bank of Baroda(numbers of share traded: 6.25 crore), IRCTC(numbers of share traded: 5.93 crore), SAIL(numbers of share traded: 5.67 crore), NALCO(numbers of share traded: 5.39 crore) and ITC(numbers of share traded: 4.63 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 353.7 points down at 17857.25, while BSE Sensex ended down 1158.63 points at 59984.7.
On the other hand, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 7.74 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 5.60 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 4.88 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 4.35 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 4.10 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
