The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 139.95 points down at 18071.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 411.69 points at 60731.64 at around 10:09AM.
IndusInd Bank(up 5.2%), Larsen & Toubro(up 3.55%), UltraTech Cement(up 0.96%), Bajaj Auto(up 0.74%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 0.65%), Maruti Suzuki(up 0.52%), UPL Ltd(up 0.4%), Britannia Industries(up 0.18%) and Divis Laboratories(up 0.03%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 6.0%), Hindalco Industries(down 3.04%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 3.04%), Titan Company Ltd(down 2.77%), ITC(down 2.73%), Coal India(down 2.45%), ICICI Bank(down 2.31%), Tata Steel(down 1.99%), State Bank of India(down 1.94%) and JSW Steel(down 1.88%) were trading in the red.
