Colgate-Palmolive Share Price: Colgate-Palmolive shares down 1.2% as Sensex rises

Shares of (India) Ltd. fell 1.2 per cent to Rs 1524.0 in Monday’s session as of 01:58PM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 761.64 points higher at 60068.57.

Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap up start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 1823.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 1463.25 on NSE. Around 11211 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:58PM (IST).

The stock opened at Rs 1525.0 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 1536.4 and Rs 1506.0 during the session so far. The counter quoted a price-to-earnings (PE) ratio of 39.38, earnings per share (EPS) of Rs 39.17 and price to book value (PB) of 36.38, while the return on equity (ROE) stood at Rs 88.77.




Promoter/ FII Holding
The promoters held 51.0 per cent stake in the company as of November 01, while FII and MF ownerships stood at 19.14 per cent and 2.65 per cent, respectively.

For the quarter ended 30-Sep-2021, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 1358.93 crore, up 16.03 per cent from the previous quarter?s Rs 1171.18 crore and up 5.09 per cent from the same quarter a year ago. The company reported net profit of Rs 269.17 crore for the latest quarter, down 1.83 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.
