The logistics player reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 228.01 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2021, as against a net profit of Rs 57.25 crore in the same period last year.
On a standalone basis, the net profit of the company rose 103.31 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 25.76 crore in the quarter ended September 2021 from Rs 12.67 crore in the year ago quarter.
Following the update, the scrip soared more than 14 per cent to Rs 313.75 on BSE. The scrip, however, gave up some gains to trade at Rs 302.20 around 10.05 am. The scrip had settled at Rs 274.15 on Monday.
The BSE Barometer Sensex was trading 79.94 points or 0.13 per cent higher at 60,218.40 at the time of writing this report.
The company’s consolidated sales rose 113.04 per cent YoY to Rs 4,977.86 crore in Q2FY2022 as against Rs 2,336.56 crore during the previous quarter ended September 2020.
Shares of Allcargo Logistics have soared more than 150 per cent in the last one year, widely outperforming the 50 per cent rise in BSE Sensex.
