NEW DELHI: Tata Power(number of shares traded: 4.71 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.95 crore), Tata Motors(number of shares traded: 2.74 crore), Bank of Baroda(number of shares traded: 1.70 crore), SAIL(number of shares traded: 1.69 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 1.56 crore), Ibull Real Estate(number of shares traded: 1.20 crore), BHEL(number of shares traded: 1.03 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 1.01 crore) and Reliance Comm(number of shares traded: 1.00 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:09AM in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 20.95 points up at 17950.6, while BSE Sensex was up 60.35 points at 60198.81 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, NTPC Ltd.(up 3.69 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 3.46 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.49 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.45 per cent) and Coal India Ltd.(up 1.20 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 2.92 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent), UPL Ltd.(down 0.85 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.81 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(down 0.74 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
