Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday’s session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 477.99 points up at 60545.61 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Atam Valves(down 20.00 per cent), Dolfin Rubbers(down 20.00 per cent), Prime Fresh(down 19.96 per cent), Fervent Syn(down 16.56 per cent) and IndusInd Bank(down 10.71 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.

In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.

The index closed 151.75 points up at 18068.55.

On the BSE, Ranjeet Mechatronics, Alfa Transform, Palm Jewels, Jiya Eco Products Lt and Fourth Gen Info hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Sukhjit Starch, Allied Digital, Bansal Roofing Prod., Dr. Lalchandani Labs and Manomay Tex India touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
