NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 3.71 crore), Magma Fincorp(numbers of share traded: 3.71 crore), Sintex Plastics Tech(numbers of share traded: 1.85 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 1.69 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 1.68 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.21 crore), JCT Ltd(numbers of share traded: 0.95 crore), MFL India(numbers of share traded: 0.75 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 0.74 crore) and Reliance Comm(numbers of share traded: 0.68 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 151.75 points up at 18068.55, while BSE Sensex ended up 477.99 points at 60545.61.
On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 10.76 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 5.98 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.53 per cent), State Bank of India(down 1.36 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.81 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
