Adani Ent Share Price: Adani Ent. shares up 2.08% as Sensex falls

Shares of Adani Enterprises Ltd. gained 2.08 per cent to Rs 1600.0 in Tuesday’s session as of 10:25AM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 132.22 points lower at 60413.39.

Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap down start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 1718.45 and a 52-week low of Rs 352.0 on NSE. Around 41139 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:25AM (IST).

The stock opened at Rs 1561.0 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 1601.35 and Rs 1557.05 during the session so far. The counter quoted a price-to-earnings (PE) ratio of 172.88, earnings per share (EPS) of Rs 9.23 and price to book value (PB) of 6.61, while the return on equity (ROE) stood at Rs 5.37.

Promoter/ FII Holding
The promoters held 74.92 per cent stake in the company as of November 09, while FII and MF ownerships stood at 18.05 per cent and 1.64 per cent, respectively.

For the quarter ended 30-Sep-2021, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 13597.1 crore, up 6.81 per cent from the previous quarter?s Rs 12730.63 crore and up 46.01 per cent from the same quarter a year ago. The company reported net profit of Rs 212.41 crore for the latest quarter, down 41.38 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.
