NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 6.61 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 2.78 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 1.21 crore), Lloyds Steels(numbers of share traded: 1.19 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.14 crore), JCT Ltd(numbers of share traded: 1.12 crore), BHEL(numbers of share traded: 1.03 crore), Vikas WSP(numbers of share traded: 1.00 crore), Bank of Baroda(numbers of share traded: 0.62 crore) and Tata Power(numbers of share traded: 0.59 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 27.05 points down at 18017.2, while BSE Sensex ended down 80.63 points at 60352.82.
On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 3.37 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 3.20 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 2.80 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 2.23 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.11 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
