Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 0.44 per cent), AU Small Finance Bank(up 0.3 per cent), Punjab National Bank(up 0.12 per cent), Federal Bank(up 0.1 per cent) and ICICI Bank(up 0.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.
State Bank of India(down 0.83 per cent), IndusInd Bank(down 0.21 per cent), IDFCBANK(down 0.2 per cent), HDFC Bank(down 0.18 per cent) and Bandhan Bank(down 0.15 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Bank index was down 0.06 per cent at 38536.2 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 52.85 points at 17926.45, while the BSE Sensex was up 117.78 points at 60037.47.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 38 were trading in the green, while 11 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Zomato Ltd., Tata Power, Brightcom Group and NALCO were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Nidan Laboratories And Healthcare Ltd., Patel Integrat(PP), Bigbloc Const, Silly Monks Entertai and Asahi Ind Glass hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Vikas WSP, Fino Payments Bank Ltd., Unichem Labs, Radha Madhav and Airo Lam hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
