Jaiprakash Power Ventures(down 8.51%), Transformers and Rectifiers(India)(down 5.29%), DPSC(down 5.02%), Inox wind(down 4.17%), Voltamp Transformers(down 2.22%), Adani Transmissions(down 2.21%), Suzlon Energy(down 2.11%), SJVN(down 1.85%), Karma Energy(down 1.82%) and JSW Energy(down 1.39%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 39.9 points up at 18142.65, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 140.26 points at 60826.95 at around 10:50AM.
Power Grid Corporation of India(up 2.42%), UPL Ltd(up 2.2%), Hero MotoCorp(up 2.06%), Cipla(up 1.72%), Asian Paints(up 1.52%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 1.36%), ITC(up 1.33%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.03%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.01%) and Infosys(up 0.9%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Coal India(down 3.26%), Bajaj Finserv(down 1.25%), JSW Steel(down 1.14%), Tata Steel(down 1.12%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.92%), Hindalco Industries(down 0.89%), Bajaj Finance(down 0.86%), SBI Life(down 0.81%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.75%) and Reliance Industries(down 0.52%) were trading in the red.
