The ace investor had cherry-picked IT consulting and software player Aurum Proptech, formerly known as Majesco, for his portfolio. The smallcap czar picked up 2,00,000 shares of Aurum PropTech at Rs 110.95 each, NSE bulk deal data showed.
The seasoned investor holds at least 19 stocks in his portfolio with an investment of over Rs 210 crore, according to Trendlyne.
Shares of Aurum Proptech hit an upper circuit of 10 per cent at Rs 161 on Tuesday, gaining more than 97 per cent from the Rs 83.15 on October 29. Interestingly, the scrip has soared more than 1,366 per cent from its adjusted 52-week low of Rs 10.98 hit on November 18, 2020.
The company, when it was known as Majesco, announced a dividend of Rs 974 per share in December 2020 after which its share price was adjusted.
On October 31, 2021, Aurum PropTech’s board had approved an investment of Rs 25 crore for 49 per cent equity stake in Integrow Asset Management (integrowamc.com) that will set pace for convergence of proptech and fintech. Aurum’s investment will comprise of equity shares and optionally convertible debentures issued by Integrow, a financial services company that offers investment management and advisory services.
“This investment is keystone towards our approach of building a 360-degree platform from asset management, customer experience to investment and financing in real estate in order to consistently bring efficiency for all stakeholders,” said Ashish Deora, Founder and CEO of Aurum Ventures, the parent company of Aurum Proptech.
