The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 396.34 points down at 60322.37, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 110.25 points down at 17999.2.
In the Nifty50 index, 14 stocks closed in the green, while 36 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Tamboli Capital, Bigbloc Const, Manomay Tex India, Punjab Alkalies and TV Today Network hit their fresh 52-week high, while Alfa Transform, Naapbooks Ltd., Innovative Ideals, Walchandngr Ind and Prism Finance touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
