Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Wednesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Ratnabhumi Developer(14.66%), NRB Bearings(14.14%), Super Fine Knitters(13.02%), Promax Power Ltd.(12.62%), Apollo Hospital(12.54%), Reliance Chemo(12.03%), Manomay Tex India(11.71%), Shristi Infra(11.5%), Time Technoplast(11.21%) and Bhagwati Auto(10.51%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 314.04 points down at 60008.33, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 100.55 points down at 17898.65.

In the Nifty 50 index, 16 stocks ended in the green, while 34 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Oriental Veneer, Vishal Bearings Ltd., Aartech Solonics, Kerala Ayurveda and ABC India Ltd hit their fresh 52-week high, while GCM Comm, Vikas Proppant & Gr, Sashwat Technocrats, Macro Exports and Narayani Steels touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
