NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 4.75 crore), Trident Ltd(number of shares traded: 3.79 crore), Tata Power(number of shares traded: 3.75 crore), Tata Motors(number of shares traded: 3.06 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 2.19 crore), Bank of Baroda(number of shares traded: 2.13 crore), Magma Fincorp(number of shares traded: 1.70 crore), Lloyds Steels(number of shares traded: 1.65 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 1.65 crore) and YES Bank(number of shares traded: 1.57 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:26AM in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 2.7 points up at 18001.9, while BSE Sensex was up 39.02 points at 60361.39 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 3.06 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 2.75 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.66 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 2.48 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(up 2.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While UPL Ltd.(down 2.35 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 1.14 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.08 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.05 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
