DLF(up 0.19 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.14 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.08 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.06 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Godrej Properties(down 2.49 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 1.92 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 1.08 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(down 0.21 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 0.89 per cent at 540.25 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 27.35 points at 17971.85, while the BSE Sensex was down 81.16 points at 60241.21.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 24 were trading in the green, while 26 were in the red.
