NEW DELHI: Zensar Tech(Rs. 1400.75 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 81.79 crore), One97 Communications Ltd.(Rs. 73.05 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 70.03 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 51.28 crore), Sapphire Foods India Ltd.(Rs. 39.92 crore), Vedanta (Rs. 36.21 crore), Birlasoft(Rs. 36.09 crore), Apollo Hospital(Rs. 31.74 crore) and 3i Infotech(Rs. 28.03 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:29AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 141.1 points down at 17757.55, while BSE Sensex was down 422.63 points at 59585.7 as of 10:29AM(IST)on November 18.
In the Nifty index, NTPC Ltd.(up 0.73 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 0.47 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 0.18 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 0.18 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 0.14 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Motors Ltd.(down 3.94 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 2.72 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 2.11 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.05 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.02 per cent) were among the top losers.
