NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Thursday.
These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Variman Global Enter(12.26%), Indian Terrain(12.05%), RMC Switchgears(10.83%) and Escorts(10.6%).
The 30-share Sensex ended 372.32 points down at 59636.01, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 133.85 points down at 17764.8.
In the Nifty 50 index, 8 stocks ended in the green, while 42 stocks closed in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Bindal Exports, Indian Terrain, Escorts, Shine Fashions and Vishal Bearings Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while One97 Communications Ltd., Fino Payments Bank Ltd., GCM Comm, SJS Enterprises Ltd. and Atreya Petro touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
