NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 5.35 crore), Zensar Tech(numbers of share traded: 3.31 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.61 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 1.55 crore), Yamini Invst(numbers of share traded: 1.52 crore), Lloyds Steels(numbers of share traded: 1.30 crore), Trident Ltd(numbers of share traded: 1.26 crore), Sintex Plastics Tech(numbers of share traded: 1.13 crore), Tata Power(numbers of share traded: 0.95 crore) and GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 0.94 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 133.85 points down at 17764.8, while BSE Sensex ended down 372.32 points at 59636.01.
On the other hand, Tata Motors Ltd.(down 3.86 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 3.22 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 3.13 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 2.86 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 2.80 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
